Dinesh Natesan, Contributor
Dinesh is an engineer-turned-biologist with expertise in neuroscience, data science, and computational modeling. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, studying how insects navigate reliably in our complex natural world. He holds a joint PhD in Life Sciences and Computer Science from the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
Dinesh enjoys thinking about systemic gaps in knowledge and developing experimental and computational tools to bridge these gaps. He is also curious about other scientific fields, seeks out multidisciplinary conversations and collaborations, and writes about things he finds interesting on his website.
