Erik serves as Board Secretary of the GIE Foundation, supporting governance, compliance, and legal assistance. He brings a cross-sector background in law and renewable energy, with a particular focus on solar infrastructure and regulatory frameworks.

Erik is CEO of EAM Solar AS, a Norwegian energy firm operating solar power plants in Italy, and is actively involved in developing some of Norway’s first utility-scale solar projects. A qualified solicitor in England and Wales, he has worked across criminal law, civil litigation, and compliance. Earlier in his career, he served as staff in the Scottish Parliament and held legal roles in both London and California.

He holds a Master’s in International Relations and Law from the University of Edinburgh, an LLB from BPP University, and an LLM in Legal Practice (Distinction) from the University of Law. He speaks English and Norwegian.
