Francesca oversees all operations, compliance, and internal systems at GIEF. She is responsible for building the organizational infrastructure that supports the Foundation’s research, partnerships, and growth. Her work includes coordinating project delivery across teams, managing vendor and contractor relationships, and ensuring operational consistency across GIEF’s international activities.

​She brings a strong background in sustainability, publishing, and project management, with experience delivering large-scale programmes at leading publishing houses including DK, Bloomsbury, and Jessica Kingsley Publishers. Her work has focused on driving industry-wide sustainability efforts, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and implementing strategic systems and processes.

Francesca holds a Master’s in Publishing, a postgraduate diploma in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, and professional certification in project management. She is an Italian and British citizen.
