Kareem Mathias, Contributor

Kareem Mathias is a GRC and AI governance consultant specializing in non-human identity governance, agentic AI trust architecture, and compliance program design. His work examines AI governance, institutional trust, and the shifting role of credentials in an era of rapid technological change.

Through KAMO Consulting, he advises enterprise clients on AI security risk management, non-human identity governance, and compliance program design across frameworks including ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, and the OWASP Agentic AI Security Top 10. His engagements have spanned pharmaceutical, technology, and financial services organizations, with a focus on how autonomous AI systems introduce new categories of identity, access, and accountability that existing governance structures were not built to handle.

Kareem also leads GRC education and content strategy at Vanta, a trust management platform. He publishes the KAMO Talks AI newsletter and builds open-source security tools addressing agentic AI trust architecture.

A graduate of Drexel University, he holds the CISSP and AIGP certifications.
