Nick Rowcliffe, Communications Advisor
Nick advises on communications for the GIE Foundation, providing guidance on narrative development, editorial strategy, and external engagement.
Nick began his career in environmental advocacy, working as a researcher for The Green Alliance and Earthlife, and later writing policy reports for Friends of the Earth. He went on to serve as Editorial Consultant for the United Nations Environment Programme in Paris, before founding what became the EU’s leading environmental policy news service—widely read across government, industry, and civil society.
He has since worked as a sustainability consultant for local government in the UK and continues to write on the intersection of policy, environment, and systems change. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Sciences.
