Sara Pane is a PhD candidate in the Joint International Doctorate in Social Representations, Culture and Communication at Sapienza University of Rome, with a European Union co-funded position under the Next Generation EU programme (Innovation within Public Administration). She held a visiting fellowship at Vrije Universiteit Brussels.

Her research focuses on EU public communication, policy language analysis and public sphere, with a particular interest in digital, AI, and post-digital contexts, as well as common security and defence issues. 

She currently serves as Communication Coordinator and Teaching Assistant at the University of Torino within the Jean Monnet Chair – COM4t.eu project (Communicating for Transitions in Europe). Her academic work is supported by prior experience in institutional and policy-related roles across Europe.
