Tanya Perchyk is an epidemiologist and researcher specialising in data-driven analysis of public systems, including AI governance, infrastructure resilience, and demographic dynamics. She trained at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and holds a Research Associate position at the University of Surrey, where she works on health data science and quantitative study design.
Her work at the GIE Foundation focuses on applying statistical and epidemiological methods to questions of regulation, the science publishing ecosystem, population change, system-level risk, and other fields, contributing across both research and policy-oriented outputs.
