Geopolitical Insight and Education Foundation
We are an independent policy and research think tank focused on stability in our democracies.
We research the drivers of instability - technological, environmental, geopolitical - and how they affect our democracies and institutions.
We create policy recommendations aimed at improving stability in our societies, and advocate for our policy recommendations with governments, legislators, organizations and the public.

Advocacy Campaign:
Responsible AI in Science
Our advocacy campaign to stop AI from destroying scientific integrity/corroding the scientific record by engaging with the major academic publishers who publish the majority of all science to standardize and enforce AI policies.
See our 2025 report: Managing the Risks of Generative AI in Academic Publishing.
Open Letter to the World's Academic Publishers
The policies governing AI use in science are insufficient, inconsistent, and largely unenforced. We are asking the world's major publishers to build a task-force with us to address this. We're forming a coalition of experts, policymakers, scientists, and public voices, to build a framework of disclosure, detection and enforcement requirements, move beyond self-reporting, and build the governance infrastructure science now needs.
This letter is open for signature. If you work in research, policy, academia, science communication, the science ecosystem or public life, we invite you to add your name.
